We finally sold our trailer and it will be going to it’s new owners shortly but first I will need to empty all of its contents. For this reason we have booked a week on the Oxford CCC site. That should give me enough time to get it sorted by ferrying things back to my Mum’s. Bearing in mind we only have a Smart car it will be quite a few trips.
The trailer was being stored at Barrets Storage which has been convenient for us as it is not far to travel back and forth. We first used their services when we sold our house back in 2008. We put our things in storage and bit by bit we managed to get it down to just a few items that went back to my Mum’s.
While I was getting on with emptying the trailer Angela had more important things to do such as getting her haircut and getting a job!
It was a busy week for us during the day. In between being a removal man I took my Mum to the Nuffield Hospital. It was her final check up and to give back her crutches after having yet another knee operation.
We managed to go to the cinema one evening with my sister Amanda and her husband John to watch the new Bridget Jones movie which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
On Saturday 24th we had a message from the lovely Al & Isabel. They had finished having their 5th Wheel serviced in Wales and wondered if we could meet up somewhere on the outskirts of Oxford. As they were coming down the A34 I suggested Pear tree services which was brilliant and at a pre arranged time we met up for a coffee. How bizarre! It was great seeing them both as well as the lovely Hamish their Scottish Terrier.
What a great week we had sorting the trailer out and even better news, Angela had a job interview today which went well. Fingers crossed.
We are dropping our car off at my sisters later as we are going to be leaving in the Morning to drop the trailer off. It is has been sold to our old managers Shaun & Billie who we worked with in Brecon. We are stopping off at another place we worked at on the way first for two nights to see other old friends Brian & Glenis at Hereford CCC.
