Five nights stay at the Caravan Club in Burford as we make our way up towards Grimsby. We are having some work carried out on the van but it’s not booked in until the 12th.
We decided on Burford as it is a site that we had not visit before and it is right next to Cotswold Wildlife Park. Neither of us had been here for a while so thought it would be fun.
Angela arranged to meet up with her mother in Witney which is not too far away and I stayed in to update our website.
Angela a had a girls night out on the 3rd so that night I spent the evening at my mum,s waiting up for Angela. She rolled in at one in the morning after what seemed to be a great but noisy evening of live rock music!
We had a cooked breakfast the following morning thanks to mum then dropped off our little Smart car at my sisters as we would not need it while we go to get the van work done.
Before my sister Amanda and her husband John dropped us off at our van in Burford we went out to Yarnton garden centre. We had a mooch about and coffee followed by a visit to Burford garden centre for more mooching and a spot of lunch then onto the campsite.
On our last day Angela and I spent a few hours around the wildlife park where we saw lots of interesting animals from around the world. I particularly liked watching the juvenile Giraffes head butting one another. Apparently a favourite pastime which is known as Necking.
After a bite to eat in the cafe we headed back to the van to sort a few things out as we are leaving for Kessingland, Suffolk in the morning.
